Scheme of amalgamation was to be rejected due to illegal activity carried out by transferee-company: NCLAT

Where Transferee Company was carrying NBFC’s activities which, according to Reserve Bank of India, was illegal activity, as no permission of Reserve Bank of India had been taken, proposed scheme of amalgamation of transferor companies with Transferee Company was to be rejected.
